Cervantes' Hat Trick Leads Stan State to 4-3 Comeback Victory over Cal Poly Humboldt on Senior Night
Alexis Cervantes recorded a hat trick, and Kenneth Solares scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute as Stan State men's soccer rallied from a 3-1 halftime deficit to defeat Cal Poly Humboldt 4-3 Saturday evening on Senior Night at Warrior Stadium. Cervantes scored once in the first half and twice in the second half, including the equalizer in the 72nd minute, before Solares completed the comeback just over four minutes later. Adrian Yepez recorded two assists, while Michael Daley and Hugo Canedo each added one as the Warriors outshot the Lumberjacks 34-5, including 22-0 in the second half, before a crowd of 264.
