Stan State's Trent Lauderdale, Annie Wild, and Mila Real Advance to Finals at NCAA DII National Track & Field Championships
PUEBLO, Colo. – Stanislaus State standouts Trent Lauderdale, Mila Real, and Annie Wild are headed to the finals of their respective events after strong performances in Thursday's preliminary rounds at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Trent Lauderdale, a senior, ran a personal-best time of 50.45 in the men's 400-meter hurdles—ranking third overall and marking the second-fastest time in program history. All three of the top times came from Lauderdale's heat, led by Oklahoma Baptist's Sean Dixon (50.14) and Claflin's Jaevon Riley (50.37). Lauderdale will compete in the finals on Saturday, May 24, at 6:50 p.m. PT.
Sophomore Mila Real advanced in the women's 400-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 59.71—sixth fastest among all competitors. She finished second in her heat behind Fresno Pacific's Brianna Green (59.06) and will race in the final on Saturday at 6:25 p.m. PT. Cal State San Marcos' Rasha Badrani led the field with a time of 58.68.
Annie Wild punched her ticket to the women's 1500-meter final by finishing fourth in a highly competitive first heat. Her time of 4:27.71 was the fourth fastest overall, as seven of the twelve qualifiers came from her heat. Adams State's Elena Carey (4:25.47) led all qualifiers. Wild will run for a national title on Saturday at 4:35 p.m. PT.
All-American Watch
If the trio finishes in the top eight of their respective finals, they will earn USTFCCCA All-American honors. A finish between ninth and twelfth will secure Second Team All-American recognition.

- Najwa Chouati was an All-American in 2024 in outdoor track and field.
Since the program's inception, 45 Warriors have earned All-American honors in men's outdoor track and field, and 54 in women's outdoor track and field.
The last time Stanislaus State had at least three All-Americans in a single season was 2015–16, when the Warriors claimed honors in eleven events at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships in Bradenton, Fla.
