TURLOCK, Calif. — Stanislaus State continues to excel both on the track and in the classroom, as nine student-athletes from the Warriors' Cross Country and Track & Field programs have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The honored Warriors include:

• Annie Wild

Bailey earned All-CCAA honors at the 2025 CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with his second place and personal best throw of 178-1 (54.27m) in the hammer throw.  He placed fourth in the javelin with a personal best throw of 177-6 (54.10m). Bailey finished his career sixth on the Warriors' top ten list in the javelin.  At the 2024-25 STANYs, Bailey was named one of the two recipients of the Will Keener Sportsmanship Award.

Hernandez earned All-CCAA honors at the 2024 CCAA Cross Country Championships by placing in the top 15.  She placed seventh with her time of 22:00.7.  The Warrior distance runner placed 30^th at the 2024 NCAA Division II West Regionals.  The Los Banos native moved into eighth place on the Warriors' top ten outdoor list in the 1500-meter run (4:32.01).  She is also ninth in the indoor top ten list in the 3,000-meter run (9:49.73).  Hernandez was part of the Distance Medley Relay team that is second all-time at Stan State (11:40.49).  She was named to the USTFCCCA Indoor Track & Field All-West Region Team.

Lane finished in third place to earn All-CCAA honors in the hammer with his throw of 177-1 (53.99m) at the 2025 CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  He had personal best throw of 44-5.5 (13.55m) in the shot put.  At this year's STANYs, Lane was named the Stan State Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.  Back in late April, Lane was named the Most Outstanding Student in the Criminal Justice Department at Stan State.  His throw of 55.75m in the hammer that he had this season was the fifth farthest in the West Region.  He earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in the hammer. 

Lauderdale became the 46^th All-American in Stan State men's track & field program history at the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  The senior hurdler finished fourth at the nationals with his personal best time of 50.16, which is the second fastest time in school history.  Lauderdale was named the Stan State Male Athlete of the Year at The STANYs.  He was the CCAA Champion in the 400-hurdles.  The two-time All-American was a part of the Warrior 4x100 relay team that broke the 43-year old school record with a time of 40.65.  That team placed second at the CCAA Championships.  The 2025 USTFCCCA All-West Region honoree was a part of the 4x400 relay team that placed third at the CCAA's.  Both teams earned All-CCAA honors.

Real earned All-American honors in the 400-hurdles by placing eighth at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  At the APU Franson Last Chance Meet in early May, Real broke the school record in the 400-hurdles with a time of 59.70.  She earned All-CCAA honors by finishing second in the 400-hurdles, third in the 100-hurdles, and being a part of the 4x400 relay team that placed third at the CCAA's.  The Warrior sophomore earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in the 400-hurdles for outdoor track and field and as a part of the DMR in indoor track and field. 

Robles finished third at the CCAA Track & Field Championships with his third-place time of 14:31.00 the senior distance runner ran a personal best time of 14:18.14 at Bryan Clay Invitational in April which is the third fastest time in school history.  During the cross country season, Robles placed 18^th at the CCAA Championships and 51^st at the NCAA Division II West Regionals.  The senior runner had the ninth fastest time in the region this season with his time of 14:18.14.

Ruiz recorded a personal best jump of 39-1.25 (11.92m) at the CCAA Championships that placed her 13^th.  He finished 14^th in the javelin.  Earlier in the season at the Brutus Hamilton in Berkeley, Ruiz placed 11^th with a personal best throw of 149-2 (45.46m).  Ruiz finished in the top fifth in the West Region in both the triple jump and javelin in his first season as a Warrior.  During the cross country season, Vasquez had a personal best time of 22:07.6 in the 5K at the Kim Duyst Twilight XC Invitational in September.  She finished in 13^th place.  At the CCAA's, Vasquez finished in 24^th place.  The sophomore runner recorded personal best times of 4:25.08 (1500) at the West Coast Relays and 2:15.05 (800) at the Bryan Clay Invitational this Spring.  She recorded top thirty times in the region in the 1500 and 800-meter runs this season.

Wild became Stan State's first ever National Indoor Champion in the mile with her time of 4:40.62 at the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships.  The Ripon native the 24^th All-American in Stan State women's indoor track & field while breaking the school record in the mile.  The sophomore distance runner became the Warriors' 56^th All-American by placing fifth in the 1500-meter run at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. 

The Stan State Female Athlete of the Year earned All-CCAA honors by placing first in the 1500-meter and second in the 800-meter. Wild was All-CCAA by placing third at the CCAA Cross Country Championships in October.  The school record holder in the 1500-meter run earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in cross country, indoor track & field (mile and DMR), and outdoor track & field (1500-meter run).
These outstanding student-athletes were recognized for their combined excellence in athletic performance and academic achievement. To be eligible for Academic All-District® recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and Eligible nominees will be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination.

  • Track & FIeld - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor) 

This recognition highlights the commitment of Stan State student-athletes to balancing rigorous academic responsibilities while competing at a high level in NCAA Division II athletics.
 
Their names will now be placed on the Academic All-America® ballot, with the team announced in mid-July.
