This Week in Warrior Sports September 22-28, 2025VOLLEYBALL CONTINUES HOMESTAND / WOMEN'S SOCCER RETURNS HOME SEPT. 28 Stan State's volleyball team will continue its four-match homestand this weekend with two CCAA matches, Sept. 26 and 27. The Warriors will host Chico State this Friday, Sept. 26, on Latinx Heritage Night. They will conclude their homestand against Cal Poly Humboldt the next evening (Sat., Sept. 27) on Alumni Night. Both matches will take place at 5:00 p.m. After traveling to Westmont this Thursday afternoon, Stan State's women's soccer team will host UC Merced in its final non-conference match, the Annual Cowbell Match, Sunday, Sept. 28, at 6:00 p.m.

The No. 2 Stanislaus State men's soccer team wrapped up non-conference play unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over Dominican on Saturday afternoon at Kennelly Field. The Warriors improved to 6-0 for the first time since 2015 while posting their fourth straight shutout.

Stanislaus State volleyball continued its early conference momentum with a sweep of Cal State San Marcos, 25-14, 25-22, 25-16, on Saturday afternoon at Fitzpatrick Arena. The Warriors swung efficiently all afternoon, piling up 41 kills while hitting .344 as a team, and backed it with 37 digs and seven total team blocks.

In their first road contest of the season, Stanislaus State nearly secured a comeback victory but settled for a 2-2 draw at Biola on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors erased a first-half deficit with second-half goals from Jocelin Roa and Olivia Maragos, but a late Eagles equalizer in the 89th minute spoiled what looked like a statement win to kick off Stan State's two-match road trip.
