Technical Services team is planning a campus-wide event to celebrate the 60^th Anniversary as a member of the FDLP (Federal Depository Library Program).  Stanislaus joined the program on 11/5/1964!  So, we are celebrating on 11/4/2024.

 

Ideas are taking shape:

1. Event date and time: November 5, 2024, Monday (yes, it is the day before super Tuesday); starting at 2 PM
   
2. Location: Library 1st floor lobby
   
3. Event program: Cake cutting ceremony at 2:00 pm; weeklong displays in the lobby (the three tables); gift bags
   
4. Special feature ‘guest’ on 11/4: Benjamin Franklin, GPO’s promotional character Ben.  (Read about Ben & his guide GPO’s Ben’s Guide)
   

 

Our certificate from the GPO arrived today (attached) and our Benjamin has arrived already.
