Stan State Women’s Soccer Volunteer Saturday Mornings at Academica Jr. Camps
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Throughout this Fall, members of the Stan State women's soccer team has been volunteering their Saturday mornings at the clinic held by Academica Junior at the Academica Soccer Fields.
The Warriors worked at various stations throughout the complex that included different soccer games and activities for the youngsters to participate in during the morning.

"While working with these kids we the joy of the game," added freshman defender Addie Meddings. "We were once that young and we all went on the same beautiful journey to get to where we are today."
"It is an absolute pleasure to work with Academica Jrs to help them develop our local youth at the youngest ages," noted Stan State head coach Gabriel Bolton. "I am so proud of the commitment our women make to this community. It's why we say we are more than a team."
Stan State will return to the pitch this Saturday, Sept. 20 for a noon starting match in La Mirada, Calif., against Biola University. After Saturday's match, the Warriors will travel to Santa Barbara, Calif., for a 12:30 p.m. match against Westmont College. They will return home to Warrior Stadium Sunday, September 30 for a non-conference match at 6:00 p.m. against UC Merced.

The Warriors battled through rainy conditions in the Pacific Northwest, carding rounds of 297 (+9) and 299 (+11) for a 36-hole total of 596 (+20), putting them alongside Saint Martin's heading into Tuesday's final round.
