Stan State Men Place Fourth at CCAA Championships
CHICO, Calif. — The Stanislaus State men's cross country team placed fourth at the 2025 CCAA Cross Country Championships presented by Pollo Campero on Friday at Bidwell Park. The Warriors totaled 130 points in the 10-team field as No. 12 Chico State won the team title with 30 points, followed by No. 16 Cal Poly Pomona (36) and Cal State San Marcos (73).
Mason Oliveira led the Warriors with a 15th-place finish in 24:57.5 to earn back-to-back All-CCAA honors, marking his second straight top-15 finish at the conference meet. Jackson Oliveira followed close behind in 18th (25:05.7), with Patricio Kearney 27th (26:05.0), Tanner Gerhart 32nd (26:35.2), and Quentin Clarke 38th (26:48.6) rounding out the scoring five.
Jonathan Hupman (60th, 27:08.5), Evan Silva (62nd, 29:16.0), Diego Cisneros (76th, 27:45.1), Austin Hein (78th, 27:50.6), Osvaldo Segoviano (85th, 28:13.8) also represented the Warriors in the 8K race, contributing to the team's depth in the competitive CCAA field.
Chico State's Mario Giannini captured the individual title, clocking 24:20.6 to lead a 1–2 finish for the Wildcats, who claimed their 20th consecutive CCAA team championship.
The Warriors' fourth-place team finish marks their fifth straight top-four performance at the conference meet, continuing one of the CCAA's most consistent stretches of success.

The Warriors will be off until Saturday, Nov. 8, when they compete in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships at Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth, Oregon. The NCAA Division II National Championships are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 a.m. PT (10 a.m. CT) at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
