SEATTLE, Wash.---- The Stan State trio of Kaela Dishion, Najwa Chouati, and Jacqueline Sanchez each provisionally qualified this afternoon for the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships with their performance in the 5,000-meter run at the UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor Center in Seattle, Wash. Dishion with her third-place time of 16:28.26 broke the Stan State record in the 5,000, which was set by Najwa Chouati during the 2023 indoor season.

At the UW Indoor Preview on January 13, Dishion provisionally qualified for indoor nationals in the 3,000-meter run which she is currently 12th in the nation.
