Stories have the power to connect, challenge, and inspire. They capture students' attention and leave them with something to reflect on, remember, and revisit long after the story is shared.

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll explore how embedding stories into coursework or lectures can foster deeper reflection, critical thinking, and creative engagement. Together, we’ll consider how stories act as mirrors and windows, helping students see themselves in future careers and broadening their understanding of others. Hosted in the university library, this session will also include hands-on time for faculty to browse narrative-rich resources and design a lesson or lecture moment where story meets content.

Join us on September 29 12:30pm to 2pm in the library rm 102 for an interactive session that will expand how we think about the role of stories in our courses. Come to this session with a specific course or topic in mind to workshop and explore potential stories.
