Stanislaus State Student-Athletes Set Record with 112 Selections to 2024–25 CCAA All-Academic Team

TURLOCK, Calif. — A record-breaking 112 Stanislaus State student-athletes have been named to the 2024–25 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office. This marks the first time in school history that over 100 Warriors have earned this prestigious honor in a single academic year.

The CCAA recognized a record 1,150 student-athletes from its 12 member institutions and 13 sports for achieving a 3.40 GPA or higher and earning a varsity letter in a conference-sponsored sport. This total surpasses the previous record of 1,030 set last year. The CCAA has presented All-Academic honors annually since 2005–06.

"Congratulations to all of the CCAA All-Academic honorees for once again setting a new conference record," said CCAA Commissioner Allen Hardison. "The dedication our student-athletes show in academics and athletics is on full display with this impressive list. I am inspired by the hard work they put into school, training, competition, and leadership in our communities. Thank you also to our coaches, academic advisors, and administrators who support their daily success."

Stanislaus State was one of five universities with more than 100 All-Academic selections. Cal State San Marcos led with 126 honorees, followed by Cal State East Bay (118), San Francisco State (116), Stanislaus State (112), and Cal Poly Pomona (101). The Warriors posted the largest year-to-year increase, nearly doubling last year's total of 58.

The CCAA sponsors the following sports: baseball, men's and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, outdoor track & field, softball, and women's volleyball. The Warriors also compete in the PacWest Conference for women's tennis and are independent in women's indoor track & field.

Earlier this year, 37 Warriors were named to the 2024–25 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll, and 50 earned Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll distinction.

Additionally, track and field standouts Trent Lauderdale and Annie Wild earned spots on the Academic All-American® Teams, selected by the Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC).

In July, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named four Warriors—Lauderdale, Wild, Crystal Hernandez, and Mila Real—as All-Academic Athletes. Wild also earned the title of 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) named five Warriors—Jason Cibull, Mahda Falley, Jeremiah Jones, Tahjae Ordonio, and Jordan Smith—to its 2024–25 Honors Court.
Five teams received academic honors from their respective coaches' associations: baseball, men's basketball, men's track and field, volleyball, and women's track and field.

In total, 32 Stan State student-athletes were selected to the Academic All-District® Team by the CSC.
