Warriors Welcome Elementary Students Back to School with Spirit and Support

TURLOCK, Calif. — Crowell and Medeiros Elementary Schools kicked off the new school year with an energetic and heartfelt welcome thanks to the combined efforts of the Stanislaus State Warriors! Members of the Stan State Men's Basketball Team, Stan State Women's Basketball Team, Stan State Cheerleaders, and local community leaders came together to greet students on their first day back.
"It was awesome to be out here and help kick off their first day," said Stan State men's basketball player Lloyd French. "We just wanted to show our support and wish all the students the best of luck this school year."
The event exemplified the Warrior spirit and highlighted the importance of community involvement in education. Stan State's outreach reflects a growing tradition of partnership between the university and local schools in the Central Valley.
