50 Stanislaus State Warriors Named to CCAA Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll
TURLOCK, Calif. — Stanislaus State is proud to announce that 50 Warrior student-athletes have been named to the 2024–25 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. This prestigious honor recognizes student-athletes for their outstanding academic achievement while competing in CCAA-sponsored sports during the winter and spring seasons.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be of sophomore athletic standing or higher, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above, and have participated in a CCAA-sponsored winter or spring sport.
A total of 642 men and women (124 Winter, 518 Spring) from across the CCAA's 12 member institutions have been honored for their efforts in the classroom for winter and spring of 2025.
CCAA-sponsored sports in the winter/spring include:
- Men's and Women's Basketball
- Baseball
- Softball
- Men's Outdoor Track & Field
- Women's Outdoor Track & Field
- Men's Golf
- Women's Golf
Academic Excellence Across the Board
This marks the fourth career honor for men's basketball standout Jeremiah Jones. Additionally, nine student-athletes received the award for a third time, while seven more were honored for the second time in their careers.
STANYS Awards Recognition
Several Warriors also earned accolades at the 2024–25 Stanislaus State Athletics Yearly Showcase (STANYS):
- Cole Bailey – Will Keener Sportsmanship Award
- Jeremiah Jones – Warrior Spirit Award
- Lamont Lane – Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year
- Trent Lauderdale – Male Athlete of the Year
- Annie Wild – Female Athlete of the Year
Academic All-District and National Recognition
Nineteen Warriors were named to their sport's Academic All-District Team, highlighting their dual excellence on the field and in the classroom. Three Warriors earned All-American honors, while twelve were named to All-CCAA Teams for their athletic performance.

Wild becomes just the second women's track & field student-athlete in Stan State history to receive this prestigious honor, joining Channing Wilson (2016).
- Warrior Soccer Fan Fest Scheduled for August 9Stanislaus State is excited to announce that Warrior Soccer Fan Fest is taking place on Saturday, August 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Warrior Stadium on the Stan State campus. This family-friendly celebration offers the first opportunity for fans to meet members of the 2025 Stan State Men's and Women's Soccer teams. Attendees can enjoy free schedule posters, Sno Cones, and interactive soccer activities for children, led by Warrior soccer players.
- Stan State Volleyball Begins Season at Two TournamentsTURLOCK, Calif.--- As defending California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Volleyball Champions, Stan State's volleyball team is looking to return to CCAA Volleyball Championship Tournament this season. The Warriors return letter-winners from last year's team including CCAA Freshman of the Year Malia Tanksley. Stan State will begin its quest for a post-season berth starting Sept. 5 and 6 at the Sunbird Classic hosted by Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, Calif.
- Stan State Women’s Soccer Opens 2025 Season with Four-Game Home StretchThe Stanislaus State women's soccer program, led by veteran head coach Gabriel Bolton, is set to kick off the 2025 regular season with a four-match home stand at Warrior Stadium. The season begins Thursday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m. when the Warriors host Saint Martin's University.
