Warriors Have Recorded Five NCAA DII Qualifying Times and Eight Top Three Marks/Times in the CCAA Heading into Their Off Week
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Heading into their off weekend, Stan State has posted five NCAA Division II qualifying times and eight top three CCAA marks or times. Trent Lauderdale is third in the 400 hurdles and 32nd in the 400-meter dash in the nation. Annie Wild is sixth in the 1500-meter run and 22nd in the 800-meter run. Twenty-first in the nation in the 400 hurdles is Mila Real.
NCAA DIVISION II QUALIFYING TIMES: The trio of Trent Lauderdale, Mila Real, and Annie Wild have qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 22-24, in Pueblo, Colo. Heading into this week, Lauderdale is third in the nation in the 400-hurdles (51.16) and 32nd in the 400-meter dash (47.53). Wild is sixth in the 1500-meter run (4:21.36) and 22nd in the 800-meter run (2:10.37). Real is 21st in the 400-hurdles (1:01.27).
TOP THREE TIMES/MARKS IN THE CCAA: The Warriors have recorded eight top three times or marks in the CCAA. The top three placers at the 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships, May 1-3, will earn All-CCAA honors. Annie Wild is first in the 1500 (4:21.36) and second in the 800 (2:10.37). Alexis Nino is first in the women's hammer (172-3, 52.50m) while Lamont Lane is first in the men's hammer (182-11, 55.75m). Trent Lauderdale is second in the 400 (47.53) and the 400-hurdles (51.16). Mila Real is second in the 400-hurdles (1:01.27) and Rionna Wallace is third in the 100-meter dash (11.78).
MOVING INTO STAN STATE RECORD BOOKS: Twenty-one have recorded top ten times or marks in the Warrior top ten list in their respective events. Rionna Wallace broke the twenty-year school record in the 200-meter dash with her time of 24.41. She is second in the 100-meter dash with her time of 11.78. Annie Wild is second in the 800-meter run (4:21.36) and seventh in the 800-meter run (2:16.37). Mila Real is second in the 400-hurdles (1:01.27). Two Warriors are in the top ten in the 5,000-meter run in Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva (sixth, 17:04.82) and Yahaira Zuniga (seventh, 17:16.25). Makenzie Kordic is ninth in the 10,000-meter run (36:22.91) while Bela Moreno is tenth in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:14.10).
Trent Lauderdale is third in the 400-hurdles (51.16) and fourth in the 400-meter dash (47.53). Jaevin Sawyer is in the top ten in the 100-meter dash (fifth, 10.72) and 200-meter dash (seventh, 21:67). Three Warriors are in the top ten in the 5000-meter run in Jackson Oliveira (third, 14:23.34), Dominic Robles (fifth, 14:27.60), and Mason Oliveira (sixth, 14:29.66). Sitting in eighth place in the 110 hurdles is Dillon Carolina with his time of 14.81. Two throwers are in the top ten in the javelin in Cole Bailey (ninth, 166-2, 50.65m) and Justice McDermott (tenth, 156-4, 47.66m). Devin Hernandez's throw of 52-1.75 (15.89m) is ninth.
ONE MORE WEEK: After being off this weekend, Stan State will have one more week of competition this regular season. The Warriors will travel to the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area to compete in four invites, April 16-19. They will be at the Mt. SAC Relays, Cal State LA Invite, LaVerne Invite, and Bryan Clay Invite.
CCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: For the second year in a row, Stan State will host the CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium, May 1-3.
