Warriors Open Fall Season at ITA West Regional
LA MIRADA, Calif.--- The Stan State women's tennis team opens its fall season this week, traveling to La Mirada, Calif., to participate in the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) West Regional September 25-26 at the Biola Tennis Center on the campus of Biola University.
Last Season
The Warriors finished the regular season 11-6 and participated in the PacWest Championships for the third consecutive season. Stan State took the win versus MSU Denver in the first round of the tournament 4-1. Azusa Pacific, who took fourth in the tournament, bested the Warriors 4-0. Stan State faced Dominican University of California next, falling 4-2. Colorado Mesa University was the final opponent for the Warriors, with the Mavericks taking the win 4-3 for Stan State to finish eighth overall in the tournament.
Stan State was named an ITA All-Academic Team, with eight members named ITA Scholar Athletes in Nicollet Alexander, Jaedyn Hendryx, Annabelle Mulick, Parker Orlando, Alyssa Tay, Maiah White, Emma Yu, and Abigail Zhurko. Additionally, eight Warriors received Academic All-PacWest honors: Alexander, Hendryx, Abbigail Mulick, Annabelle Mulick, Orlando, Tay, Yu, and Zhurko.
2025-26 Warriors
Coach Verek Visaraga has four returners from last year's team in Abbigail Mulick, Parker Orlando, Maiah White, and Emma Yu. Fall newcomers Katrine Damkjær, Alessandra Del Pino Carvajal, Emi Mikami, and Megan Schweitzer join those returners to make up the 2025-26 Warriors.

After the ITA West Regional this weekend, Stan State will have two more invitationals this fall. The Warriors will be in San Rafael, Calif., October 24-25 to participate in the Hidden Duals hosted by Dominican University of California.

Led by Isabella Saucedo's 14 kills and a balanced team effort at the net, the Warriors improved to 5-5 overall and 3-0 in conference action while limiting the Wildcats to just a .082 hitting percentage.
- Stanislaus State Men’s Golf Heads to Western Washington InvitationalThe Stanislaus State Warriors men's golf team will continue its 2025-26 fall campaign next week, teeing off at the Western Washington University Invitational, hosted at Bellingham Golf & Country Club in Bellingham, Wash. The event is slated for September 29–30, featuring 54 holes (36 on day one, 18 on day two) with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. each morning.
- Rodriguez, Figueroa Goals Lift Warriors to 2-1 Win at WestmontStanislaus State leaned on clutch goals from Kellyann Rodriguez and Jocelyn Figueroa — and a dominant 19-7 shot advantage — to earn a 2-1 road victory over Westmont on Thursday afternoon.
