Wild Provisionally Qualifies for Nationals; Wallace Breaks School Record to Highlight UW Preview for the Warriors
Stan State continued its indoor track and field season this afternoon competing in the UW Preview at the Dempsey Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash. Annie Wild provisionally qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships with her time of 2:11.23 in the 800-meter run. For the second straight invitational, Rionna Wallace broke the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.80 which tied her for 14th in the field. Mila Real moved into fourth place at Stan State in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.20.
Stan State Tennis Begins Spring Season in Davis
After a strong Fall Season, the Stan State women's tennis team will begin their Spring Season on Saturday, February 1st in Davis, Calif., for a non-conference match with UC Davis. This will be the first of 19 matches for the Warriors as they look to qualify for the 2025 PacWest Championships April 15-19 in Surprise, Arizona.
CSUSB Uses Late Second Half Run to Key Win Over Warriors
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.--- Stan State was leading the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes 40-39 with 8:33 left in regulation, but the Coyotes went on a 13-0 run in the next two minutes to take a 52-40 lead and held on for the 65-52 victory at CSUSB's Coussoulis Arena this evening. The trio of Daniel Ameyaw, Lloyd French, and Jeremiah Jones each scored 12 points to lead the way for the Warriors.
Warriors Drop Game Versus Coyotes
The Warriors traveled to Cal State San Bernardino this evening, falling 66-47. Stan State was lead in scoring by Daja Scott-Mitchell with 19 points, who added 16 rebounds for a double-double.
Stan State Women’s Indoor Track & Field Returns to Competition this Weekend in Seattle
After having over a month off since competing in the Silver State Invitational, Stan State Women's Indoor Track & Field team will send twelve student-athletes to compete in the UW Preview and the Mile City Preview this Friday-Saturday, January 18-19 at the Dempsey Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.
