Stan State became the first team to score against No. 1 Cal State LA this season and took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Golden Eagles scored twice in the second half to rally for a 2-1 victory over the Warriors Friday afternoon at University Stadium. Alexis Cervantes broke Cal State LA's season-long scoreless streak with his team-leading sixth goal in the 33rd minute, while Dylan Isasi recorded a career-high 10 saves. The loss snapped Stan State's six-match unbeaten streak and moved the Warriors to 2-3-4 overall and 0-1-2 in CCAA play.

The Stan State men's golf team, coached by Brandon Christianson, received 27 votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches' Poll, released Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.  The Warriors earned national recognition after finishing second at the Wildcat Classic with a school-record three-round score of 830 (276-271-283), finishing 34-under-par at the par-72 Peach Tree Country Club.

The Stan State volleyball team highlighted alopecia awareness during its home opener against San Francisco State on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena.

Stan State opened its 2026 home schedule Thursday evening with a three-set loss to San Francisco State, falling 25-21, 25-18, 25-23 on Alopecia Awareness Night at Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena.
