Flores’ Brace, Warrior Defense Power No. 14 Stanislaus State to 3–0 Win at Simon Fraser
BURNABY, B.C. — No. 14 Stanislaus State men's soccer kept its unbeaten start rolling on Thursday night, defeating Simon Fraser 3–0 at Terry Fox Field. The Warriors struck early, breaking through in the 6th minute when Samuel Villanueva and Adrian Yepez set up Flores for the opening goal. Just 13 minutes later, Flores doubled the lead with a composed finish in the 19th minute. Stan State's defense limited Simon Fraser to six first-half shots, with goalkeeper Angel Ruiz-Hernandez making two saves to keep the clean sheet intact.

The Warriors maintained control after the break, outshooting the Red Leafs 5–4 in the second period. Brenes sealed the victory in the 84th minute, scoring his first goal in a Warrior uniform to make it 3–0.
