Warriors Wrap Up Fall Season at Menlo Hidden Duals
ATHERTON, Calif.--- The Stanislaus State women's tennis team closes out its fall season this weekend at the Menlo College Hidden Duals, taking place Nov. 7-8 in Atherton, Calif. The two-day event will feature matchups against Menlo College, Dominican University, and American River College, with competition held at both the Cartan and Wunderlich courts.
The Hidden Duals format will include singles and doubles play, with doubles matches played to one set to 6 (no-ad scoring) and singles matches best two out of three sets, using a 10-point tiebreak in place of a full third set. A certified athletic trainer will be on site throughout the weekend, and teams will have a one-hour warm-up period prior to the start of play each day.
The Warriors have built steady momentum through their fall schedule, beginning with a competitive showing at the ITA West Regional in La Mirada, Calif., hosted by Biola University. The doubles tandem of Abbigail Mulick and Parker Orlando advanced to the Round of 16 after a strong win in the opening round, while Katrine Damkjær reached the Round of 16 in the consolation singles draw. Emma Yu and Maiah White also earned first-round singles victories in their season debuts.
Most recently, Stan State turned in an impressive weekend at the Dominican Hidden Duals (Oct. 24-25), highlighted by a singles sweep against Jessup, with straight-set wins from Yu, Mulick, Damkjær, Orlando, and White. The Warriors also picked up singles victories from Orlando, White, and Emi Mikami versus Menlo, along with Damkjær, Orlando, and White against Dominican. In doubles play, Yu and Mulick, as well as Orlando and Damkjær, posted convincing wins against Jessup to close the event.

With two strong fall performances behind them, the Warriors will look to cap their autumn slate on a high note this weekend at Menlo before turning their attention to preparation for the 2025 spring season. The team's full spring schedule will be announced in December or January.
