TURLOCK, Calif.---Stanislaus State women's soccer continues its push for a postseason spot this weekend with two key CCAA matchups, hosting Chico State on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. for Break the Record Night and then traveling to Seaside to face Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m.

Weekend Recap
The Warriors split their two matches last weekend, falling 1–0 at Cal Poly Humboldt before earning a 2–1 home win over Cal State San Marcos. Against the Cougars, Stan State struck first when Shauna Johnston scored off a cross from Reyna Dismukes in the 16th minute. The Warriors regained the lead for good in the 70th when Aliah Avila scored on a ball from Olivia Kamm. Goalkeeper Zara Mujica made four saves to secure the victory, her sixth win of the season. The result improved Stan State to 6–3–4 overall and 2–2–2 in CCAA play, including a strong 5–2–1 mark at home.

Warriors Update
Through 13 matches, Stanislaus State has allowed only 12 goals while posting five shutouts behind a disciplined defensive unit led by seniors Makeila Yancey, Katie Smith, and Kellyann Rodriguez. Mujica has anchored the back line with a 0.92 goals-against average and a .803 save percentage over 1,170 minutes in goal. Offensively, Olivia Maragos leads the Warriors with four goals and nine points, while Haylee Sousa (two goals, two assists) and Avila (one goal, three assists) provide consistent attacking presence. Johnston has chipped in two goals, and Dismukes continues to spark the attack with key service and tempo control from midfield.  Avila is now tied for fifth in the Stanislaus State career record book with eight game-winning goals, marking another milestone in her standout career.

CCAA Leaders
Stanislaus State is well represented among the conference's top statistical performers. Olivia Maragos is tied for fifth in the CCAA with four goals and ranks seventh in total points with nine. Aliah Avila is tied for third in assists with three and continues to be one of the conference's most creative playmakers. In goal, Zara Mujica is tied for fourth with four shutouts, ranks third with 49 saves, and sits seventh in both goals-against average (0.92) and save percentage (.803). The Warriors as a team rank among the top half of the CCAA in goals allowed, shutouts, and total assists.

Scouting Chico State
Chico State enters the weekend 6–5–2 overall and 4–2–0 in the CCAA after defeating San Francisco State 2–1 last weekend. The Wildcats average 1.23 goals per game and allow only 0.85, backed by a split-goalkeeper tandem of Claire Schnabel (.833 save pct, three shutouts) and Kennedy Briseño (.792, two shutouts). Senior forward Taylor McMahon leads the attack with four goals and three assists, while Jiana Martin (three goals) and Makayla Quesada (two goals) add depth. Chico ranks among the CCAA leaders in corner kicks (56) and shots per match (13.0), and has been strong at home (5–2–0) but 1–3–1 on the road.

Chico leads the all-time series with Stanislaus State 18–14–9 after earning a 4–2 victory in Turlock last season.

Scouting Cal State Monterey Bay
Cal State Monterey Bay is 4–6–3 overall and 2–3–1 in the CCAA following a 1–0 win at Cal State East Bay. The Otters have scored 16 goals in 13 matches while conceding 19 (1.46 GAA). Their attack is led by Gianna Foss (three goals) and Juliana Dow (two goals, one assist), while Danielle Castro and Jaedyn Sanders have added two goals apiece. Goalkeeper Willow Baltazar owns a 1.50 goals-against average and .750 save percentage in 12 starts. CSUMB averages just under 10 shots per match and converts 13 percent of its opportunities.

Stanislaus State holds a commanding 27–6–3 advantage in the all-time series with the Otters.

CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament
The six-team CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament begins with first-round matches on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the site of the higher seeds. The semifinals and finals will be played at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside, on the campus of Cal State Monterey Bay, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 14–15. The top two seeds receive first-round byes, and the tournament champion earns the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Championships. Stanislaus State women's soccer is currently tied for sixth in the CCAA standings with Cal State San Marcos, while UC Merced is not eligible for postseason play this season.

Break the Record Night
Friday's home match will feature the annual "Break the Record" promotion, encouraging fans to pack Warrior Stadium and help set a new single-match attendance record. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the 4:30 p.m. kickoff against rival Chico State to be part of one of the most energetic nights of the year for Warrior Athletics.

Following this weekend's matches, Stanislaus State women's soccer will travel to Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday, Oct. 31, before returning home to celebrate Senior Day against San Francisco State on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 11:30 a.m. at Warrior Stadium.
