Stanislaus State junior forward Gerardo Flores has been named the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Player of the Month for October, following an outstanding stretch that helped the Warriors maintain their national prominence and push toward a historic regular season finish.

The Stanislaus State men's soccer team continues to be recognized among the nation's best, checking in at No. 3 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Men's NCAA Division II national poll released Tuesday (Nov. 4). The Warriors, who held the No. 1 national ranking for two consecutive weeks in October, have now spent eight straight weeks ranked in the Top 5 nationally as they close out the regular season with an opportunity to capture their first-ever CCAA regular-season title.

The Stanislaus State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 2025 NCAA Division II West Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Ash Creek Preserve on the campus of Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. Both Stan State squads look to build on strong conference performances and secure berths in the NCAA Division II National Championships later this month in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Stanislaus State volleyball team takes a short break from conference play this week, traveling to UC Merced on Thursday, November 6, at 7 p.m. before returning home to host Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday, November 8, at 5 p.m. for Senior Night in Fitzpatrick Arena. The Warriors will then conclude the regular season with two CCAA road matches next weekend — Friday, November 14, at Cal State LA (5 p.m.) and Saturday, November 15, at No. 25 Cal Poly Pomona (12 p.m.) — before returning home to host the 2025 CCAA Volleyball Tournament.

Stan State Men's and Women's Basketball will host their Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dust Bowl Brewing Company in Turlock, Calif.

The Stanislaus State women's tennis team closes out its fall season this weekend at the Menlo College Hidden Duals, taking place Nov. 7-8 in Atherton, Calif. The two-day event will feature matchups against Menlo College, Dominican University, and American River College, with competition held at both the Cartan and Wunderlich courts.

The Stanislaus State women's soccer team will close the regular season on Thursday afternoon at UC Merced, looking to secure its fourth consecutive berth in the CCAA Tournament. The Warriors (9-4-4, 5-3-2 CCAA) enter the match on a three-game winning streak and currently sit fourth in the conference standings with 17 points. All CCAA regular-season finales will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Nationally ranked Stanislaus State men's soccer wraps up its historic 2025 campaign this week, hosting UC Merced in the Warriors' home finale at Warrior Stadium. Kickoff is set for Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. on FloCollege. The Warriors enter the match with a chance to clinch their first-ever CCAA regular-season title — if Stan State wins and Cal State Dominguez Hills loses or ties at Cal State East Bay, with both matches kicking off simultaneously at 11:30 a.m., the Warriors will secure the championship outright.
