MOU Signing with Improve Your Tomorrow // Stanislaus State
Our partnership with Improve Your Tomorrow (IYT) and the 1300 Campaign, which began in 2022, is all about creating those opportunities. It’s about opening doors for students like you who may not have always seen themselves in college or have had that expectation built into your lives.
At Stan State, our focus isn’t just on getting you here; it’s about supporting you every step of the way. We are committed to providing the holistic services you need — mentorship, academic resources, supporting campus engagement, material resources, and a community of people who will support you. It’s about making sure you have what you need to thrive.
For our young men of color, this is especially significant. Together we are breaking down barriers, ensuring that you know that higher education is not just a possibility—it’s your future. And we are here to help you make that happen.
This MOU signing between Stan State and IYT is a moment of celebration and a powerful commitment. With this agreement, we are offering guaranteed admission to students who may have met the requirements in a different way-by overcoming obstacles that others have not had to confront. We’re saying, “Not only do you belong here, but we are going to make sure you succeed.”
This partnership is a promise to stand by you from the moment you consider college to the day you graduate—and beyond.
This MOU strengthens our collaboration with IYT and builds on the 1300 Campaign. We’re taking action to make sure that every student, no matter their obstacles or their background, has the chance to achieve their dreams. We are creating a future where success is accessible to all and expected of all.
