Thirty-Seven Stan State Student-Athletes Named to 2024-25 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll
TURLOCK, Calif.-- As announced the office of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) this evening, thirty-seven Stan State Fall Student-Athletes were named to the 2024-25 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll.
To be named to the CCAA Fall All-Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be of sophomore athletic standing or higher, own a 3.33 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better while competing in a CCAA sponsored sport in that sport. The CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll consists of eligible student-athletes who compete in the sports of men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball.
A total of 475 men and women from across the CCAA's 12-member of institutions have been honored for their efforts in the classroom for the fall and spring.
Back in November, eight Warrior student-athletes were named to their respective Academic All-District Teams as selected by the College Communicators in Aliah Avila (women's soccer), Hayley Burdo (volleyball), Alex Byrd (volleyball), Marco Carbajal (men's soccer), Makenna Carrillo (volleyball), Kayla Perez (women's soccer), Makeila Yancey (women's soccer), and Ellison Weaver (volleyball).
Seven Warriors are receiving this honor for the third time in their career in Malia Allen, Daniel Avalos, Haley Burdo, Makenna Carrillo, Alecxander Cuellar, Haylee Heffner, and Ellison Weaver. Ten are being named to the CCAA Fall All-Academic Honor Roll for the second time in Marco Carbajal, Adin Dibble, Kryslin James, Kaia Mills, Alexi Ochoa, Amber Pon, Dominic Robles, Ryan Rosas, Sammy Villanueva, and Makeila Yancey.
The Academic All-District Team for cross country will be announced this May.
