Warriors Add Two More to the Class of 2025
TURLOCK, Calif. — Stanislaus State head volleyball coach Lauren Flowers has announced the addition of two more signees—Fallon Freeman and Rylee Szyszka—to the 2025 Warrior Volleyball Team. They join Lauren Hamilton, Maggie Olson, and Reagan Wilkerson in this year's recruiting class, bringing added talent and depth to the roster.
Fallon Freeman
Freeman, a right-side hitter from Modesto, Calif., is transferring to Stan State from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She graduated from Fred C. Beyer High School in 2024, where she was a three-time West Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and a three-time Team MVP. She was also named to the Stanislaus All-District Team as a senior.
In addition to her volleyball accomplishments, Freeman excelled in swimming. She was a two-time Team MVP, a sectional qualifier in the 100 freestyle, a member of the 4x100 freestyle relay team, and an All-Academic Team honoree.
"I am really excited to see Fallon compete as a Warrior this fall," said Flowers. "We aim to be a top choice for local talent, and I'm glad we can provide a competitive experience for her so close to home. Her competitiveness and determination to succeed as a student-athlete has always stood out to me, so I'm thrilled she will be joining our team!"
Rylee Szyszka
Szyszka, a libero from Belleville, Illinois, was a two-time all-conference selection at Westmont High School. She graduated in 2024 and was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and an AP Scholar. She is transferring from Eastern Michigan University, where she redshirted this past fall. Szyszka also played club volleyball for Sports Performance Volleyball.
"Rylee is going to make a great addition to the team," said Flowers. "Her technical background has shaped her to be a strong libero who I think can help us in the back row for many seasons in the future. I'm excited to see how she will impact our program this year!"
Stan State is coming off its most successful season in program history. The Warriors captured their first-ever CCAA Tournament Championship and received a bid to the NCAA Division II West Regional. They finished 22–8 during the season with a 12–6 CCAA record. Stan State had six Warriors earn All-CCAA honors, five were CCAA Championship All-Tournament honorees, and one was an All-American and All-Region selection.
