Stanislaus State Men’s Golf Heads to Western Washington Invitational
Turlock, Calif. — The Stanislaus State Warriors men's golf team will continue its 2025-26 fall campaign next week, teeing off at the Western Washington University Invitational, hosted at Bellingham Golf & Country Club in Bellingham, Wash. The event is slated for September 29–30, featuring 54 holes (36 on day one, 18 on day two) with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. each morning.
Building Momentum from Wildcat Classic
The Warriors opened their season at the Wildcat Classic (Chico State) on September 15–16, competing in a strong multi-regional field. Sophomore transfer Riley Kirk led the way for Stan State with a three-round total of 209 (−7), tying for 10th overall in his first tournament as a Warrior. He opened with back-to-back 69s before closing with a 71.
As a team, Stan State finished 8th with a total of 860 (−4), recording rounds of 288 (E), 286 (−2), and 286 (−2). The Wildcat Classic offered valuable competition and a benchmark for the squad as it works to build chemistry heading into the invitational season.
