Women’s Tennis to Compete at Dominican Hidden Duals This Weekend
TURLOCK, Calif..--- The Stanislaus State women's tennis team continues its fall season this weekend as the Warriors head to San Rafael for the Dominican University Hidden Duals, taking place Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24–25, at Dominican University.
The Warriors will be represented by Abbigail Mulick, Emma Yu, Parker Orlando, Maiah White, Katrine Damkjær, Alessandra Del Pino Carvajal, and Emi Mikami, under the direction of head coach Verek Visaraga and assistant coach Ashlyn Castro.
This marks the second competition of the fall for Stan State, following the ITA West Regional Championships last month in La Mirada, where several Warriors turned in promising early-season performances. Stan State's doubles team of Abbigail Mulick and Parker Orlando secured a win in the Round of 32, building on their strong chemistry and success from last season. Katrine Damkjær went on to win her Round of 16 match in the consolation singles bracket before her quarterfinal contest was cut short due to team travel schedules.
Competition Format
The Hidden Duals feature singles and doubles play among four programs — Dominican, Stanislaus State, Menlo College, and Jessup University — in a two-day round-robin format.
On Friday, the Warriors open with singles play against Jessup at 10:30 a.m., followed by doubles versus Dominican at 12:30 p.m. and singles against Menlo at 3:15 p.m.
Action resumes Saturday at 9 a.m., with doubles against both Jessup and Menlo, followed by singles versus Dominican at noon to close out the weekend.
Warriors Update
The Dominican Hidden Duals will offer another opportunity for Stan State to gain valuable match experience and continue building toward the 2025 spring dual-match season. Several Warriors will look to carry their momentum from the ITA Regionals into this weekend's competition as they continue to develop their singles consistency and doubles pairings.
The Warriors will also use this weekend as a preview for spring competition, as they are scheduled to face these same PacWest Conference opponents again during the regular season.
Up Next
Following the Dominican Hidden Duals, the Warriors will close out the fall portion of their schedule at the Menlo College Hidden Duals, scheduled for November 7–8. The 2025 spring season schedule will be announced in December or January.
