Stanislaus State Women’s Basketball to Open 2025–26 Season at Santa Clara

TURLOCK, Calif. — The 2025–26 Stanislaus State women's basketball team, led by 14th-year head coach Wayman Strickland, will open its new campaign on the road with an exhibition matchup at Santa Clara on November 3. The Warriors' schedule features a competitive blend of non-conference contests and CCAA match-ups as they continue to build under their veteran leader.

Warriors Update
Stanislaus State returns several key contributors from last season's roster, including guard-forward Alyssa Premo, who averaged 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, and guard Kalyn Harris, who added 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest. Sophomore guard Amya Vangkham-Griffin also returns after averaging 5.3 points per game.

Sophomore guard Quinn Garrett started all 28 games a year ago, averaging 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and totaling 52 assists. Coming back after a redshirt season is Aaliyah Dias, who will add frontcourt depth and athleticism. Redshirting this season will be Krista Andersen.

Newcomers
The Warriors' incoming class brings a mix of experience and local talent. Freshmen Nerissa Hamilton (Grant Union HS) and Cameron Gibson (Atwater HS) join the squad, along with junior guard Lexi Derf (San Francisco State) and forward Eryn Gardner (Sonoma State).

Junior Sara Davis (Modesto JC) and Western Oregon transfer Milasarai Tau add size and versatility, while local standouts Karissa Hukill (Atwater HS) and Kylie Kulina (Beyer HS) round out a group that will look to make an immediate impact.
