Volleyball Hosting Pair of Matches; Women's Soccer Senior Day This Sunday
Stan State's volleyball team returns home this weekend to host Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino, Friday–Saturday, October 31–November 1. Both matches are scheduled for 5 p.m. first serves. The Warriors will face Cal Poly Pomona on Friday and Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday.

Stan State women's soccer will host San Francisco State on Sunday, November 2, at 11:30 a.m. for its Senior Day. Prior to the match, the Warriors will recognize their seniors — Malia Allen, Reyna Dismukes, Olivia Iturria, Shauna Johnston, Alexi Ochoa, Brynn Phillips, Kellyann Rodriguez, Katie Smith, Makeila Yancey, and Zoie Willson.

No. 1 Warriors Clinch CCAA Tournament Berth, Extend Unbeaten Streak to 14
The No. 1 Stanislaus State men's soccer team continued its remarkable season with a pair of victories over Chico State (2-0) and Cal State Monterey Bay (4-1) to improve to 13-0-1 overall and 7-0-1 in CCAA play. The Warriors clinched their first CCAA Tournament berth since 2015 and earned their first win over Chico State in 10 meetings. Gerardo Flores led the offense with two goals and two assists over the weekend, while Emmanuel Duran, Christian Brenes, Adrian Yepez, and Alexis Cervantes all found the net in Sunday's win. Stan State has now outscored opponents 33-8 on the season and remains perfect on the road at 7-0. Team leaders include Flores with nine goals and five game-winners, Samuel Villanueva with nine assists, and goalkeeper Angel Ruiz-Hernandez with a 0.57 goals-against average and seven shutouts. The Warriors are riding a 14-match unbeaten streak and remain tied atop the CCAA standings with No. 16 Cal State Dominguez Hills.

No. 12 Stan State Women Finish Second at CCAA Championships
The No. 12-ranked Stanislaus State women's cross country team opened postseason competition with a runner-up finish at the CCAA Championships on Friday in Chico. The Warriors totaled just 24 points and placed five runners in the top 15 to earn All-CCAA honors, led by Annie Wild's runner-up finish in 21:39.5. Izzy Soto (7th), Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva (8th), Nina Furtado (10th), and Bela Moreno (12th) also earned conference honors as Stan State posted its third top-two CCAA finish in the past four seasons. The Warriors will next compete at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships on Nov. 8 in Monmouth, Oregon.

Women's Soccer Earns Weekend Split, Moves Into CCAA Tournament Position
Stanislaus State women's soccer wrapped up its weekend with a strong 2–0 road win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Sunday, bouncing back from a narrow 2–1 loss to Chico State on Friday. Aliah Avila and Makeila Yancey each scored in the victory, with Haylee Sousa assisting on Yancey's second-half goal, while goalkeeper Zara Mujica earned her fourth shutout of the season and sixth of her career. The Warriors, now 7–4–4 overall and 3–3–2 in CCAA play, sit tied for sixth in the conference standings with Cal State San Marcos and have three matches remaining in the regular season. The top six teams in the standings advance to the CCAA Soccer Championship Tournament, which begins Nov. 9 with first-round matches and concludes Nov. 14–16 at Cardinale Stadium in Seaside.
 
Warriors Sweep SoCal Road Trip to Extend Win Streak to Three
The Stanislaus State volleyball team delivered a dominant performance over the weekend, sweeping both Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State San Marcos to complete a perfect 2–0 Southern California road trip. The Warriors hit a combined .318 as a team while holding their opponents to just .090 across six sets, totaling 93 kills, 10 service aces, and 18 blocks. Christallynn Tate led the offense with 20 kills on a .390 hitting percentage, while Sydney Hoffman added 15 kills on .542 hitting and 10 blocks. Setters Reagan Wilkerson and Shaelyn Pruiett combined for 71 assists to guide the balanced attack, and Leah Mendoza paced the back row with 23 digs. The Warriors improved to 10–9 overall and 8–4 in the CCAA, extending their winning streak to three matches and solidifying their fifth place standing in the conference race.

Stan State Men Place Fourth at CCAA Championships
The Stanislaus State men's cross country team opened the postseason with a fourth-place finish at the CCAA Championships on Friday in Chico. Mason Oliveira led the Warriors with a 15th-place finish in 24:57.5 to earn All-CCAA honors for the second straight year, while Jackson Oliveira (18th), Patricio Kearney (27th), Tanner Gerhart (32nd), and Quentin Clarke (38th) rounded out the scoring five. Jonathan Hupman (60th), Evan Silva (62nd), Diego Cisneros (76th), and Austin Hein (78th) also contributed in the 8K race as Stan State recorded its fifth consecutive top four conference finish. The Warriors will next compete at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships on Nov. 8 in Monmouth, Oregon.

Women's Tennis Wraps Up Strong Weekend at Dominican Hidden Duals
The Stanislaus State women's tennis team turned in a strong performance at the Dominican Hidden Duals in San Rafael, earning multiple singles and doubles victories against Jessup, Menlo, and Dominican. Katrine Damkjær, Parker Orlando, Maiah White, and Emi Mikami each picked up key wins as the Warriors continued to build momentum through their fall schedule. Stan State will close out fall play at the Menlo College Hidden Duals on November 7–8.

2025 CCAA Volleyball Tournament Presented by Under Armour Set for Fitzpatrick Arena
The 2025 CCAA Volleyball Tournament presented by Under Armour will be held November 20–22 at Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena in Turlock, California, hosted by Stanislaus State. The top six teams in the conference standings will qualify for the postseason, with the top two seeds earning a first-round bye. Tournament play begins Thursday, November 20, with quarterfinals featuring the No. 3 seed versus the No. 6 seed at 3 p.m., followed by the No. 4 seed versus the No. 5 seed at 5:30 p.m. Semifinal action continues Friday, November 21, as the No. 2 seed faces the Match 1 winner at 3 p.m. and the top-seeded team meets the Match 2 winner at 5:30 p.m. The CCAA champion will be crowned Saturday, November 22, when the semifinal winners battle for the title at 5 p.m. The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Championship.

Basketball Season Just Around the Corner
Warrior basketball returns soon, with the men's squad opening against Jessup University on Nov. 14 before hosting Saint Martin's on Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. and Cal Maritime on Nov. 29 at 3 p.m. The women's team begins its season with a pair of exhibition games — at Santa Clara on Nov. 3 and at Utah State on Nov. 20 — before opening CCAA play at Cal Poly Humboldt on Dec. 4. Stan State's home opener is set for Friday, Dec. 19, at 5:30 p.m. against Cal State San Bernardino in Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena. Fans should mark their calendars — the hoops season is right around the corner.

Flores powered No. 1 Stanislaus State to a 2-0 week with two goals and two assists as the Warriors clinched their first CCAA Tournament berth since 2015 and beat Chico State for the first time in 10 meetings. He scored both goals in Friday's 2-0 win over the Wildcats and added two assists in Sunday's 4-1 victory at Cal State Monterey Bay. Flores leads the CCAA with nine goals, five game-winners, and ranks second in total points.

Sydney HoffmanSydney Hoffman — Volleyball
Hoffman turned in a career-best weekend to help Stan State sweep Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State San Marcos on the road. The middle blocker hit .542 with 15 kills and 10 total blocks across six sets, averaging 2.50 kills and 1.67 blocks per set. She set career highs in both categories while anchoring a Warrior attack that hit .318 as a team over the weekend.

Wild paced the No. 12-ranked Warriors to a runner-up finish at the CCAA Championships, placing second overall in the 6K (21:39.5) to earn All-CCAA honors for the third straight year. The Ripon native has been Stan State's top finisher in every race she's run this fall, helping the program secure its third top-two CCAA finish in four years.

Oliveira collected All-CCAA honors for the second consecutive season, finishing 15th in 24:57.5 to lead the Warriors to a fourth-place team finish. A steady performer all year, he has been one of Stan State's top two runners in every meet, helping the men's squad record its fifth straight top-four conference finish.
