This afternoon, the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announced Stan State guard Da'Myiah Lewis has been named to the 2024-2025 All-CCAA Women's Basketball Second Team.

This morning, March 4, Stan State men's basketball players Jordan Smith and Skylar Strickland read books to students at Crowell Elementary School in Turlock, Calif., as part of the nationwide program "Read Across America".

Stan State returns home this Friday-Sunday, March 7-9 to host Cal State Los Angeles in a four-game CCAA series at Warrior Field.  The series opener will begin this Friday, March 7 with a 6:00 p.m. starting single game.  The two teams will play a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader this Saturday, March 8. They will play the series finale this Sunday, March 9 at noon.  Prior to Saturday's first game of the doubleheader, Stan State Two-Time All-American Pitcher Louie Souza, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Stan State travels to Cal State San Bernardino for a pair of doubleheaders beginning on Friday, March 7th at 12:00 p.m. The second doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8th.

Stan State Men's and Women's Basketball will host their Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dust Bowl Brewing Company in Turlock, Calif.

Former Stan State pitcher Louie Souza '80 will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to game one of this Saturday's doubleheader against Cal State Los Angeles at Warrior Field.  The first pitch is scheduled for 12:55 p.m. prior to the 1:00 p.m. starting doubleheader.

Stan State travels for two in Southern California, playing Azusa Pacific on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 a.m. The Warriors make their way to Cal State Los Angeles on Sunday, March 9th for a match scheduled at 11:00 a.m

This Week in Warrior Sports March 3-9, 2025   Wild Runs Third Fastest Time in Nation with School Record Time in 800 Stan State's Annie Wild ran a school record time in the mile with her time of 4:39.92 at the Boston Last Chance Meet on Sunday.  That time is currently the third fastest time in the nation in NCAA Division II.  Earlier this season, Wild provisionally qualified in the 800-meter run which is the 20th fastest time in the nation.  Wild is also part of the Distance Medley Relay Team with Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, Crystal Hernandez, and Mila Real which hold the 23rd fastest time in the nation.  Sanchez-Silva is 22nd in the nation in the 5000-meter run.  Yahaira Zuniga and Hernandez are 48th and 55th in the 5,000-meter run.  The field for the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced this Tuesday, March 4.
