An opening reception will take place Tuesday, April 22 from 4:00--6:00 p.m. with an artist talk at 4:30 p.m.
The exhibition will include video and photography, with elements of sculpture and installation. Scumdog. aims to confront the audience with ideas of the grotesque and the absurd in a tongue-in-cheek way that embraces both the horror and comedy of uncomfortable images.
Riddock McCoy is a multimedia artist from Oakdale, California concerned with the odd corners of the world. Their practice is influenced by monster movies, cartoons, the internet, and freakshows, among other things. Their work spans many mediums including video, photography, sculpture, and performance.
Admission to the gallery is free of charge, and free on-street parking is available. Gallery hours are 12:00 noon--5:00 p.m. Tuesday--Saturday.
