INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.---- As announced this afternoon by the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships Committee, Stan State's trio of Trent Lauderdale, Mila Real, and Annie Wild are heading to the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This year's championships are set for May 22-24, 2025, at the CSU-Pueblo ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo. Wild will be running in the women's 1500-meter run while Real will be competing in the women's 400-hurdles. Lauderdale will be running in the men's 400-hurdles.
Wild will run in the preliminaries on Thursday, May 22 at 4:10 pm (PT) of the 1500-meter run. She is one of 22 runners competing in prelims. The Warrior sophomore has the seventh fastest time in the nation in NCAA Division II with a time of 4:19.67. Earlier this year, Wild became the first ever Stan State Indoor Track & Field Champion in the mile at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. Wild ran a time of 4:40.62. At this year's 2025 CCAA Track & Field Championships, Wild captured the 1500-meter run and was the runner-up in the 800-meter run to earn All-CCAA honors in both events. This is the second time in the 2025 USTFCCCA First Team All-American's career that Wild has earned All-CCAA honors in both events. Two years ago in 2023, Lauderdale finished in tenth place at the nationals to earn USTFCCCA Second Team All-American honors. Lauderdale comes into this year's field with a personal best time of 51.06 (ninth fastest in the nation) that he ran in the finals of the 400-hurdles at the CCAA Track & Field Championships earlier this month to become the CCAA Champion.

The two-time FloCollege/CCAA Men's Track Athlete of the Week also was a member of the All-CCAA men's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that finished second and third respectively at the CCAA's earlier this month. The men's 4x100 relay time ran a time of 40.65 that broke the 42-year school record. The finals of the 400-hurdles set for Saturday, May 24 at 6:35 p.m. (PT).
Real will be running in the preliminaries of the women's 400-meter hurdles on Thursday, May 22 at 4:10 p.m. (PT). Real ran that time at the APU Last Chance Meet on Saturday, May 10 to break the Warrior school record in the 400-hurdles. This is the first time in her career at Stan State that Real has qualified for the Nationals.
At the CCAA Track & Field Championships earlier this month, Real earned All-CCAA honors in the 400-hurdles (second team), 100 hurdles (first team), and as a part of the 4x400 relay team (third team). The finals for the women's 400-hurdles will take place Saturday, May 24 at 6:25 p.m. (PT).
ALL-AMERICAN: If the Warriors place in the top eight in their respective event's finals on Saturday, they will earn NCAA Division II All-American and USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors. If they place ninth through 12th, they will earn USTFCCCA Second Team All-American Honors. The USTFCCCAA All-American Teams will be officially released on May 27.
LAST WARRIOR ALL-AMERICANS: Najwa Chouati finished eighth in the 10,000-meter run to earn All-American honors at the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Emporia, Kansas. Annie Wild and Mila Real are looking to become the Warriors' 53rd and 54th All-Americans in program history.
