Three Members of Stan State Softball Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team
TURLOCK, Calif.--- As announced this afternoon, three members of the Stan State softball team were named to 2025 Academic All-District Softball Teams as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). These three Warrior student-athletes are McKenna Beach, Karli DalBianco, and Sasha Martello.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
McKenna Beach started in all 47 games for the Warriors and finished the season with a team-leading six home runs. Beach posted an .856 slugging percentage, driving in 20 of the team's runs. In five games, she drove in two or more runs including two games with three RBIs. Primarily playing first base, McKenna Beach recorded 277 putouts over the season with a season-high of 13 in four different games and a .977 fielding percentage. This is Beach's second season in a row she has been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Karli DalBianco was one of the most consistent hitters for the Warriors this season, finishing the season with a .329 batting average and was considered one of the CCAA's toughest batters to strikeout for several weeks, which uses the ratio of strikeouts to at bats. DalBianco was also in the top five in the conference for a few weeks in sacrifice bunts. With three home runs, DalBianco hit the second-most on the team and hit her first grand slam of her career, batting in a total of five runs in one game. This is her third-straight season being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team while also being named to the CCAA All-Academic Team and earning D2ADA Academic Achievement honors last year.
Sasha Martello allowed only 10 walks and one home run over 70.1 innings pitched, including as a starter and a reliever. As a batter, she had one home run and only stuck out twice over 73 at bats. Martello finished the season 12th in NCAA Division II for walks per seven innings. This is Martello's third season in a row that she has been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. She has previously been named to the CCAA All-Academic Team and earned D2ADA Academic Achievement honors.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as women's CSC Academic All-America® finalists will be announced on June 3, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

The Warriors struck first in the 44th minute on a goal by Alexis Cervantes and, after conceding a second-half equalizer via a penalty kick, regained the lead in the 87th with a game-winning strike from Gerardo Flores. Stan State outshot SPU 13-5 and controlled 57% of the possession, showing early season form in their home opener.
- Warriors Dominate Saints in Regular Season Home OpenerStanislaus State opened the 2025-26 women's soccer season in strong fashion with a 1-0 shutout victory over Saint Martin's in the home opener at Warrior Stadium on Thursday night.Grace Fabionar netted the match-winner in the 55th minute — her first career collegiate goal — off a double assist from Kellyann Rodriguez and Aliah Avila. The Warriors dominated the match with 62% of possession, a 21-4 shot advantage, and limited the Saints to just three shots on goal. Zara Mujica, making her Stan State debut, recorded three saves to earn her first clean sheet as a Warrior.

The Warriors will open their regular season by hosting the Kim Duyst Twilight meet at River Oaks Golf Course in Ceres, California.
- Volleyball Travels to Fresno for Sunbird Classic to Begin 2025 SeasonThe Stanislaus State volleyball team begins its 2025 season this week at the Sunbird Classic, hosted by Fresno Pacific University, playing three matches in the tournament. The Warriors play non-conference opponents in all three games, beginning with Fresno Pacific on Friday, September 5 at 11:30 a.m. followed by Westmont College that evening at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 6, Stan State faces Menlo College at 2:00 p.m.
