Warrior Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Set for Nov. 5 at Dust Bowl Brewing Company
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State Men's and Women's Basketball will host their Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dust Bowl Brewing Company in Turlock, Calif.

This event will start at 5:00 p.m. PT and then at 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Blue Chip Broadcasting's Bryan Nelson will be interviewing Stan State head men's basketball coach Paul Trevor and head women's basketball coach Wayman Strickland along with student-athletes of the 2024-25 Warriors men's and women's basketball teams about their upcoming seasons.
This is a chance for Warrior fans to meet the 2024-25 Stan State Warrior men's and women's basketball coaching staffs and student-athletes.
The Warrior men's basketball team will begin their regular season at the CCAA/PacWest Challenge, November 8-9 on the campus of Cal State East Bay in Hayward, Calif. Their home opener is set for Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m., when they host UC Merced.
Stan State's women's basketball team will be at the GNAC/CCAA Crossover in Ellensburg, Wash., on the campus of Central Washington University to begin their regular season. The Warriors' home opener is set for Saturday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m., when they host Academy of Art. Prior to the regular season starting on November 8, Stan State will have three exhibition games at UC Davis (Oct. 27), Nevada (Oct. 30), and Pacific (Nov. 4).

Valdivia recorded the highest-grade point average (GPA) in the single subject matter in physical education.
- Warriors’ Chris Chomyn Named Two-Time Recipient of the 2025 NCAA Division II PING All-West Region TeamAs announced this morning by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), Stan State's Chris Chomyn was named to 2025 NCAA Division II PING All-West Region Team. This is the second year in a row that Chomyn has earned this prestigious honor.
- Stan State’s Trio of Lauderdale, Real, and Wild Heading to NationalsAs announced this afternoon by the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships Committee, Stan State's trio of Trent Lauderdale, Mila Real, and Annie Wild are heading to the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This year's championships are set for May 22-24, 2025, at the CSU-Pueblo ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo. Wild will be running in the women's 1500-meter run while Real will be competing in the women's 400-hurdles. Lauderdale will be running in the men's 400-hurdles.
- Four Members of the Women's Tennis Team Earn CSC Academic All-District HonorsAs announced this afternoon, four members of the Stan State women's tennis team were named to 2024-2025 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). These four Warrior student-athletes are Abbigail Mulick, Annabelle Mulick, Alyssa Tay, and Emma Yu.
- Stan State Athletics’ Department Recognized Student-Athletes at The STANYSStan State Department of Athletics held The STANYS, which is the year end student-athlete awards ceremony. The event took place this past Monday evening at Snider Hall on the campus of Stanislaus State. The Warriors recognized several student-athletes for their outstanding performances in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. They also honored their graduating student-athletes that will be receiving their degrees, May 27-30.
