A determined Stanislaus State squad wrapped up its three-match road trip Thursday evening with a competitive California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match-up at San Francisco State. The Warriors showed strong stretches throughout the night, highlighted by a second-set win and several extended rallies, but came up short in four sets inside the SFFCU Gymnasium at Don Nasser Family Plaza.

The Stanislaus State women's cross country team remains the No. 1 team in the West Region and No. 13 nationally in the most recent USTFCCCA rankings, heading into this weekend's San Francisco State Invitational.

The Stanislaus State men's soccer team is off to the best start in program history and continues to make waves on the national stage, ranking No. 3 in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II poll. The Warriors, who held the No. 2 national ranking for the past three weeks, remain in the Top 20 for the fifth straight week and continue to lead the West Region for the fourth consecutive week, as announced Tuesday (Oct. 7).

The Stanislaus State men's golf team capped its fall trip to Nevada with a strong finish at the National Preview, climbing four spots on the final day to place 13th at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Warriors fired a team score of 286 (-2) in Tuesday's third round to post a 54-hole total of 879 (+15).

The Stanislaus State women's soccer team has earned a spot among the region's elite, checking in at No. 10 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 – NCAA DII Women — West Region, released October 7.

The Stanislaus State men's and women's cross country teams continue to impress through the early portion of the 2025 season, turning in strong performances at the Kim Duyst Twilight and the UC Riverside Invitational. The Warriors now head to San Francisco for the SF State Invitational this Friday, October 10, at Golden Gate Park — their final tune-up before the CCAA Championships.
