TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State's volleyball team begins the postseason in the CCAA Championships Tournament presented by FloCollege quarterfinals in Pomona, Calif. at the Kellogg Arena. The Warriors, entering as the third seed will face the sixth seed Cal State East Bay on Thursday, November 21^st at 3:00 p.m. in their sixth CCAA tournament appearance.
 
STAN STATE'S REGULAR SEASON IN REVIEW: Stan State heads into the postseason with 19-7 overall record and 12-6 in the CCAA. The Warriors swept their opponents in 11 out of their 19 wins and only went to five sets on four occasions, three of which Stan State emerged victorious. Stan State leads the conference in three areas: blocks per set (2.60), team total blocks (244), and team digs (1,472). They are 13^th in the nation with their blocks per set and 25^th in the nation in team total blocks.
 
SIXTH APPEARANCE: The Warriors are headed to the CCAA Championship Tournament for the sixth time, with their last appearance coming in 2022 under head coach Lauren Flowers as well. The team made it to the semifinals once in their six appearances, in 2016, falling short to Chico State to make it to the finals.
 
CONFERENCE LEADERS: Alex Byrd and Autumn Kirby continue to hold the one and two spots in blocking statistics in the conference. Alex is first in blocks per set with 1.23 while Autumn is at 1.16 blocks per set. Freshman Malia Tanksley made it to the tenth spot in the conference with 0.81 blocks per set. Autumn snagged the top spot in total blocks, climbing to 102 this season while Alex Byrd follows right behind with 101.
 
Gabby Rawson holds her top spots in the conference in digs per set and total digs. She recorded 4.43 digs per set and 416 total digs.
 
Shaelyn Pruiett made it into the top ten in two categories for her service aces, landing in eighth with 0.4 aces per set and in the ninth position with 37 service aces.
 
SENIOR DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Multiple Stan State seniors have recorded double-doubles this season. Ellison Weaver recorded two, notching 13 in her four-year career at Stan State. Burdo earned six this season with 35 total in her career. Isabella Saucedo has recorded two of her own, with three total in her two seasons at Stan State. Gabby Rawson has also produced two double-doubles this season and three in her four-year career with the Warriors.
 
THE STANDARD: Gabby Rawson, Ellison Weaver, Alex Byrd, and Haley Burdo all hold places in the Stan State record book for career records. Gabby Rawson is all-time leader in digs with 1,541. Ellison Weaver secured 781 kills to be eighth all-time in the record books. Alex Byrd holds positions in two categories, being third in solo blocks with 82 and first in total blocks with 339. Haley Burdo has made the books in three categories with 873 digs for eighth place, 145 service aces for third place, and 2,156 assists to become the all-time leader.
PIONEERS IN REVIEW: Cal State East Bay broke their three-game loss streak with a sweep of Chico State in their final regular season match. They head into the post season 13-13 overall with an 8-10 record against CCAA opponents. The Pioneers focus primarily on their quick offense with Pi'ilani Carvalho and Jada Stone leading the charge as setters. Lexi Pagani, Mia Jordan, and Coco Ikpe are the primary hitters for East Bay. Sophomore libero Kale'a Kuamo'o holds the defensive line if the offense misses their mark, leading the team with 374 digs. Fane Paua and Mia Jordan lead the team in blocks, attempting to lessen Kuamo'o's work.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Stan State is attempting to even the score in the all-time series with Cal State East Bay, having swept them last week and taken the win in both meetings this season. Cal State East Bay still leads 21-18 after last week's match (3-0; 27-25, 25-12, 27-25). Ellison Weaver led the offense with 13 kills and recorded a double-double with 10 digs. Autumn Kirby had seven of the team's 14 blocks, and Gabby Rawson's 17 digs picked up balls that made it through. The Pioneers remain a competitive opponent, especially after sweeping Chico State for their last game of their regular season.
