Play Suspended at Otter Invitational; Warriors to Resume Tuesday Morning at Bayonet

SEASIDE, Calif. — Play was suspended due to darkness Monday evening at the Warriors' fall tournament at Bayonet Golf Course, as rainy conditions throughout the day slowed play and prevented completion of the second round. Stanislaus State still has two holes remaining in its second round and will resume play Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. to complete the round before immediately starting the third and final round of the 54-hole event.

Through nearly two rounds, Stanislaus State sits in 10th place at 35-over par. Western Washington leads the 13-team field at 18-over, followed closely by Cal State San Marcos (+20) and Colorado State Pueblo (+21). Colorado Mines and Hawai'i Hilo are tied for fourth at 22-over, with Simon Fraser (+24), Cal State East Bay (+25), and Chico State (+28) rounding out the top eight.

After opening with a team score of 306 in round one, the Warriors were 23-over in round two when play was halted.
Owen Bascom paced Stanislaus State with a 3-over 75 in the first round and sits at +6 overall, while Chase Bird and Ricky Sullivan are both at +10 and +8, respectively. Carson Diaz is at +12, Riley Kirk at +13, and individual competitor Ethan Gonsalves at +24 through 16 holes of round two.

Colorado State Pueblo's Marius Dosiere leads the individual standings at 2-under through 16 holes, followed by Cal State San Marcos' Aiden Canada at 1-under. Hawai'i Hilo's Ben Crinella and Western Washington's Calvin Cakarnis are tied for third at even par, and Western Washington's Conrad Brown rounds out the top five at 1-over.
