Stan State will return to the Fitzpatrick Arena on January 2nd to ring in the new year.

WARRIORS VERSUS WARRIORS: Stan State lost a nail biter with Jessup 68-62. The team had strong third and fourth quarters, but finished the game just shy of a win. Da'Myiah Lewis led the team in scoring with 17 points, using those to record a double-double paired with her 10 rebounds. Jadyn Patterson put up 11 points along with tying her season-high of six assists, while Talia Maxwell recorded nine rebounds and five blocks in the game. Stan State held Jessup to shooting 27.3% in the third quarter while returning fire at 63.7% themselves. Krista Andersen and Kalyn Harris put up strong performances from the bench, scoring 10 and nine points, respectively, for a combined 19.

WARRIORS SINK THE OTTERS: Stan State earned their first win at home, claiming their CCAA opener against Cal State Monterey Bay 69-48. Talia Maxwell led the team 25 points, followed by Da'Myiah Lewis with 17 points. The defense put on a show, holding Cal State Monterey Bay to shooting just 32.1% from the field. Hosanna Walker and Nala Williams will be the ones to watch for threes, both having made 14, while Devon Lewis will be looking to pass to her shooters to add to her team-leading 26 assists.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Cal State Dominguez Hills leads the all-time series with Stan State 16-12, though the Warriors won both meetings last season 65-59 and 60-50.
