Dismukes, Hernandez, and Nino Earn All-CCAA Honors; Wallace Breaks Another School Record

TURLOCK, Calif.---  Stan State had three more All-CCAA performers in the second day of the 2025 CCAA Championships this afternoon at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium.  These three were Reyna Dismukes (triple jump), Devin Hernandez (shot put), and Alexis Nino (shot put).  All three placed third in their respective events.  For the second straight day, Rionna Wallace broke a Stan State record this time with her time of 24.03 in the 200-meter dash. Alfred Nunes moved into eighth place on Stan State's top ten list in the decathlon with 6024 points. 

ALL-CCAA WARRIORS:  Stan State added three more All-CCAA performers to give them six for the 2025 CCAA Championships.  Alexis Nino earned All-CCAA honors by placing third in the shot put with a throw of 43-7 ¼ (13.29m).  This is Nino's second all-conference honor as she captured the women's hammer on Thursday afternoon.  Devin Hernandez had a third place throw of 53-3 ¾ (16.25m) in the men's shot put to earn All-CCAA honors.  Finishing third in the women's triple jump was Reyna Dismukes with her jump of 38-8 ¼ (11.79m) to earn All-CCAA honors.  With her jump, Dismukes is now tied for third on the Warriors' all-time top ten list.   

SCHOOL RECORDS/MOVIN' ON UP:  Besides Reyna Dismukes moving to a tie for third place with Jamie Sams on the Warrior top ten list in the triple jump (38-8 ¼), five other Warriors moved into the top ten list with their times and or marks today.  Rionna Wallace broke the school record in the 200-meter dash with her time of 24.03 this afternoon breaking her own record of 24.41.  Mila Real moved to sixth on the Warrior top ten list in the 100-hurdles with her time of 14.84.  Alexis Nino is now fourth in the shot put (43-7 ¼).  Jaevin Sawyer is now third on the Warrior top ten list in the 200-meter dash (21.23).  Alfred Nunes is now eighth on the decathlon top ten list with his 6024 points at the CCAA's. 

EARNING POINTS FOR THE WARRIORS:  Stan State earned points in the men's triple jump and decathlon today.  Eligah Lawrence placed fifth in the triple jump (45-4 ½, 13.83m).  Alfred Nunes was a fourth-place finish in the decathlon with his 6024 points.  Stan State had three third-place finishers in Reyna Dismukes (triple jump), Devin Hernandez (shot put), and Alexis Nino (shot put).

ADVANCING TO SATURDAY'S FINALS: Stan State has six Warriors advancing to the finals on Saturday in their respective events.  Annie Wild (first) and Crystal Hernandez (sixth) each advanced to the 800-meter run finals.  Adin Dibble advanced to the men's 800-meter finals with his fifth-place time of 1:57.03.  Rionna Wallace advance to the finals of the 200-metrer dash with her school record time of 24.03.  Jaevin Sawyer is in the finals of the 200-meter dash with this first place time of 21.23.  Mila Reals advanced to the finals of the 100-hurdles with her second-place time of 14.84.

MULTI-EVENTS:  Alfred Nunes placed fourth in the decathlon just 81 points out of earning All-CCAA honors.  He was fifth in the 100-meter dash, long jump, high jump, javelin, and 1500-meter run.  Nunes was sixth in the shot put and 400-meter dash.  He finished second in the pole vault and was third in the 110-hurdles and discus.
