Stan State Outdoor Track & Field has Recorded Six Qualifying Times; Thirty-Four Warriors Have Top Eight CCAA Times/Marks
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Heading into the 2025 CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships that they will be hosting May 1-3, the Stan State Warriors have qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in six events. Annie Wild has qualified in the 1500 and 800-meter run events. Trent Lauderdale has recorded qualifying times in the 400-meter dash and 400-meter hurdles. Mila Real has qualifying time in the 400-hurdles. Jackson Oliveira has a qualifying time in the 5,000-meter run. Three Warriors in Lamont Lane, Alexis Nino, and Wild have recorded the top mark or times in their respective events in the CCAA.
NCAA DIVISION II QUALIFYING TIMES: Four Warriors have six recorded NCAA Division II qualifying times this season heading into the CCAA Championships next week. Annie Wild is currently sixth in the nation in the 1500-meter run (4:19.67) and 16th in the 800-meter run (2:08.76). Trent Lauderdale is sixth in the 400-hurdles (51.16) and 400-meter run (47.53). Mila Real is 23rd in the 400-hurdles with her time of 1:01.27. Jackson Oliveira is 52nd in the 5,000-meter run (14:15.54).
TOP THREE TIMES/MARKS IN THE CCAA: Stan State has twelve top three times or marks in the CCAA. Of those top three times, four are the top marks/times in the conference. Annie Wild is first in the 800 and 1500-meter run. Alexis Nino is first in the women's hammer and Lamont Lane is first in the men's hammer. Trent Lauderdale is second in the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash. Mila Rela is second in the 400-hurdles. Third in their respective events are: Rionna Wallce (100-meter dash), Jackson Oliveira (5,000-meter run), men's 4x400 relay team of Levi Gardner, Jemar Armstrong, Jaheim Williams, and Trent Lauderdale, and Devin Hernandez (shot put and hammer).
MOVING INTO STAN STATE RECORD BOOKS: Twenty-one Warriors have moved into the top ten in the Stan State record books in their respective events. Annie Wild is first in the 1500-meter run and fourth in the 800-meter run. Rionna Wallace is first in the 200-meter dash and second in the 100-meter dash. Trent Lauderdale is third in the 400-hurdles and fourth in the 400-meter dash. Mila Real is second in the 200-meter dash and seventh in the 100-hurdles. Jaevin Sawyer is fifth in the 100-meter dash and sixth in the 200-meter dash. Jackson Oliveira is second, Dominic Robles is third, Mason Oliveira is sixth, and Abe Alsaidi is eighth in the 5000-meter run. Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva is sixth and Yahaira Zuniga is seventh in the 5000-meter run.
Joshua Shimoda is seventh, Cole Bailey is ninth, and Justice McDermott is tenth in the javelin. The men's 4x400 relay team of Eris Hutchins, Jaheim Williams, Jaevin Sawyer, and Trent Lauderdale are fifth. Reyna Dismukes is sixth in the triple jump and Devin Hernandez is sixth in the shot put. Eighth in the 110 hurdles is Dillon Carolina and eighth in the 1500-meter run is Crystal Hernandez. Makenzie Kordic is ninth in the 10,000-meter run and Bela Moreno is tenth in the 3,000-steeplechase.
CCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: For the second year in a row, Stan State will host the CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships presented by UnderArmour at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium, Thursday-Saturday, May 1-3.
NCAA DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS: This year's NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set for May 22-24 at The ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State Pueblo. The official field for the championships will be announced on www.ncaa.com on May 13, 2025.

- Stan State Heading to the NCAA’s for the Twenty-Fifth Time and Fifth Straight TimeStan State men's golf team, under the guidance of head coach Brandon Christianson, received an at-large berth to the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship. This is the 25th time that the Warriors have been invited to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships and this is the fifth straight time. Stan State will be heading to play in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf West/South Central Super Regional, May 8-10, at the par-72 Victoria Golf Club in Riverside, Calif.
- Stan State Falls in Series Opener to OttersCal State Monterey Bay took the four-game weekend series opener from the Stan State Warriors 16-2 this evening at Warrior Field. Luke Davies and Danny Murphy each scored the Warriors' run while Flavio Perez and Ryan Leonesio drove in the runs. The two teams will continue their season tomorrow with a starting 1:00 p.m. doubleheader. The series finale is scheduled for this Sunday, April 27 at noon. Prior to the game at 11:40 a.m., Stan State will recognize its 19 seniors in a pre-game ceremony on the field.

Chomyn shot a three-round score of one-over par 217 to finish in a tie for fourth place with Sonoma State's Ivan Sablan. As a team, the Warriors shot a 38-over par 902 (303-302-297) to finish in sixth place.
- Chomyn In a Tie for Second Place While Warriors Are Tied for Fifth Heading into Final Round of CCAA’sStan State moved into a tie for fifth place with Sonoma State after the second round of the 2025 CCAA Men's Golf Championships in Santa Barbara, Calif. The Warriors shot a 302 (+14) to go with their 303 (+15) to give them a 29-over par 605. Chris Chomyn led the Warriors for the second consecutive round with his two-round score of one-over par 145. The senior golfer is in a tie for second place with Cal State East Bay's Cooper Groshart. They are just two strokes out of first place, which is held by Cal State Monterey Bay's Wilhelm Berg Von Linde (143, -1) heading into the final round of the CCAA Men's Golf Championships at the par-72 The Sandpiper Golf Club.
