First Street in Turlock. This exhibition will feature Stan State Art Department Alumni who graduated between 1960--2024. Art work displayed will include a wide variety of media and technique. Admission is free, and free on-street parking is available.

This group provides a safe and supportive space to explore challenges such as managing difficult emotions and fostering a sense of connection with yourself and others. Through a structured, step-by-step approach, participants will learn tools to handle emotional ups and downs, strengthen communication and trust, and develop coping skills that support personal growth and well-being. The group focuses on providing understanding, encouragement, and practical strategies to help participants create a path toward healing and resilience. Each session offers an opportunity to take meaningful steps forward in a supportive community. Each session will assign homework, so participants can utilize and practice the new skills immediately. Together, we’ll work toward building confidence, emotional balance, and the skills to navigate life’s challenges effectively. Through a series of interactive workshops, group discussions, and self-directed assignments, participants will explore the intersection of leadership, cultural heritage, and personal growth. The RISE Leadership Academy fosters an environment of mutual support and encouragement, where students can strengthen their leadership capacity, network with and build the confidence needed to excel academically, community-wide and in their future careers. The RISE program is rooted in the principles of resilience, inclusivity, self-discovery, empowerment, social justice, and cultural awareness, and aims to equip participants with the skills and strategies necessary to navigate leadership roles in diverse settings, while staying grounded in their cultural identity.
