Trio of Warriors to Compete in Boston Last Chance Meet this Sunday, March 2
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State's Crystal Hernandez, Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, and Annie Wild will be competing in the Boston Lance Chance Meet this Sunday, March 2 at The Track & Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Wild will begin the Warriors' Sunday at 2:45 p.m. (ET) running in the mile. Then at 4:55 p.m. (ET), Wild along with Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, and Crystal Hernandez will run in the 5,000-meter run. These will be looking to improve their provisional times.
WARRIORS PROVISIONAL TIMES: Heading into the Boston Last Chance Meet, Stan State has recorded provisional times in five events for the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships. Annie Wild is 15th in the mile (4:46.05) and 25th in the 800-meter run (2:10.34). The Distance Medley Relay Team of Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, Mila Real, Crystal Hernandez, and Annie Wild are 19th in the nation with their time of 11:40.49. Sanchez-Silva is 20th in the 5000-meters (16;46.10). Yahaira Zuniga is 46th (9:47.33) and Hernandez is 52nd (9:48.73) in the 3,000-meter runs.
FIELD ANNOUNCED: The official field for the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced this Tuesday, March 4 on www.ncaa.com. This year's championships will be held, March 13-15, at the Fall Creek Pavilion at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana.
