Stan State started its final home stand of the regular season with a 72-61 loss to the visiting Cal Poly Pomona Broncos this evening in a CCAA match-up at The Fitz.  Jeremiah Jones led the way for the hosts with 15 points to go with his six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Jonathan Tchengang chipped in 12 points for the Warriors.

The Warriors faced Cal Poly Pomona tonight, falling 72-61. Stan State was led by Da'Myiah Lewis with 27 points. Jadyn Patterson put up 12 points and Kalyn Harris chipped in nine points.

As announced this morning by the office of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Stan State men's golfers Chris Chomyn and Jack Peters were named the FloCollege/CCAA Co-Men's Golfers of the Week.

Stan State's Crystal Hernandez, Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, and Annie Wild will be competing in the Boston Lance Chance Meet this Sunday, March 2 at The Track & Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Stan State shot a school record six-under par 282 to finish with a 26-under par 838 at the three-round Battle in the Desert to finish in second place.  The Warrior duo of Jack Peters and Chris Chomyn tied for first place each with a nine-under par 207 at the three-day tournament.  Peters won the three-hole tournament by recording a birdie on the final play-off hole at the par-72 Rams Hill Golf Course.

Stan State Men's and Women's Basketball will host their Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dust Bowl Brewing Company in Turlock, Calif.
