Stan State’s Trent Lauderdale Named Two-Time FloCollege/CCAA Male Track Athlete of the Week
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State's Trent Lauderdale was named this week's FloCollege/CCAA Male Track Athlete of the Week as announced this afternoon by the office of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) for the second time this season. This is the third time in his career that Lauderdale has received this honor.
The senior hurdler ran a 51.21 to capture the 400 hurdles at the West Coast Relays this past Saturday in Clovis, Calif. With that NCAA Division II provisional time, Lauderdale is ranked first in the nation and in the CCAA. He moves into third place on Stan State's all-time top ten list in the 400 hurdles.
Lauderdale was part of the 4x100 relay team with Eris Hutchins, Jaheim Williams, and Jaevin Sawyer that finished second with a time of 41.68. The Fontana, Calif., native also was a part of the 4x400 relay team with Levi Gardner, Jemar Armstrong, and Dillon Carolina that ran a first-place time of 3:16.27.
That 4x400 relay team is third in the CCAA with that 3:16.27 time from this past weekend. The Warriors' 4x100 relay team ran a time of 41.34 earlier this season, which places them fourth in the CCAA.
Stan State will travel to the Bay Area for its next competition of the season. The Warriors will compete in the Mike Fanelli Distance Carnival (April 3-5) at San Francisco State, Stanford Invitational (April 3-5) in Stanford, Calif., and the
Brutus Hamilton (April 5) at Berkeley, Calif.
After this weekend, Stan State will just have two more weeks of competition this regular season. The Warriors will be in Southern California, April 17-19, competing at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitaitonal, LaVerne Invite, and Bryan Clay Invite. They will return to the valley, April 26-27, to compete in the Fresno State Invite in Clovis, Calif.
For the second year in a row, Stan State will host the CCAA Track & Field Championships at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium, May 1-3. This year's NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by Colorado State Pueblo at The ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colo., May 22-24.

Stan State outshot SPU 13-5 and controlled 57% of the possession, showing early season form in their home opener.
- Warriors Dominate Saints in Regular Season Home OpenerStanislaus State opened the 2025-26 women's soccer season in strong fashion with a 1-0 shutout victory over Saint Martin's in the home opener at Warrior Stadium on Thursday night.Grace Fabionar netted the match-winner in the 55th minute — her first career collegiate goal — off a double assist from Kellyann Rodriguez and Aliah Avila. The Warriors dominated the match with 62% of possession, a 21-4 shot advantage, and limited the Saints to just three shots on goal. Zara Mujica, making her Stan State debut, recorded three saves to earn her first clean sheet as a Warrior.
