Warrior Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Set for Nov. 5 at Dust Bowl Brewing Company
TURLOCK, Calif.--- Stan State Men's and Women's Basketball will host their Tip-Off Dinner on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dust Bowl Brewing Company in Turlock, Calif.

This event will start at 5:00 p.m. PT and then at 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Blue Chip Broadcasting's Bryan Nelson will be interviewing Stan State head men's basketball coach Paul Trevor and head women's basketball coach Wayman Strickland along with student-athletes of the 2024-25 Warriors men's and women's basketball teams about their upcoming seasons.
This is a chance for Warrior fans to meet the 2024-25 Stan State Warrior men's and women's basketball coaching staffs and student-athletes.
The Warrior men's basketball team will begin their regular season at the CCAA/PacWest Challenge, November 8-9 on the campus of Cal State East Bay in Hayward, Calif. Their home opener is set for Saturday, November 23 at 3:00 p.m., when they host UC Merced.
Stan State's women's basketball team will be at the GNAC/CCAA Crossover in Ellensburg, Wash., on the campus of Central Washington University to begin their regular season. The Warriors' home opener is set for Saturday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m., when they host Academy of Art. Prior to the regular season starting on November 8, Stan State will have three exhibition games at UC Davis (Oct. 27), Nevada (Oct. 30), and Pacific (Nov. 4).

The Warriors are ranked nationally for the third consecutive week and remain No. 1 in the West Region for the second week in a row. Lynn is No. 1 nationally, followed by Stan State at No. 2. Off to a 6-0 start, Stan State is one of just six undefeated programs in Division II and the only team in the nation with at least six victories.
- Stan State Concludes Four-Game Homestand Versus Chico State and Cal Poly HumboldtStan State's volleyball team continues its homestand with two matches this week. The Warriors host Chico State (4-5, 0-2 CCAA) on September 26 and Cal Poly Humboldt (0-10, 0-2 CCAA) on September 27. Both matches have a scheduled first serve of 5:00 p.m. at The FItzpatrick Arena.
- Warriors Set for Westmont and Cowbell Cup Showdown with UC MercedStanislaus State women's soccer (2-1-2) is set for a two-match week, traveling to Santa Barbara to face Westmont this Thursday, Sept. 25 at 12:30 p.m. The Warriors will return home this Sunday, Sept. 28 for a 6:00 p.m. non-conference match with UC Merced. This will be the Annual Cowbell Cup Match.
